  1. Data Protection Act, files and civil liberties

In accordance with Articles 39 et seq. of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 on information technology, files and civil liberties, any person may obtain access to and, where applicable, rectification or deletion of information concerning them by contacting DEFE.
Any person may also, for legitimate reasons, object to the processing of data concerning them.

  1. Protection of intellectual property

This website is published by DEFE (the “Publisher”), which holds the rights relating to the elements contained on the website. Website content means the general structure, texts, images (animated or not), and sounds of which the website is composed. Any full or partial representation or reproduction made without DEFE’s consent is unlawful. Such representation or reproduction, by any means whatsoever, would therefore constitute an infringement punishable under the legislation in force on intellectual property. DEFE intends to rely, in its favor, on all provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, including Articles L 342-1 and L342-2 of said Code.

  1. Authorizations to reproduce the website content

In accordance with the Intellectual Property Code, the following are permitted: “copies or reproductions strictly reserved for the private use of the copier and not intended for collective use” and “private and free performances carried out exclusively within the family circle”.

Consequently, unless prior written authorization has been obtained from DEFE, it is prohibited to make any commercial or other use of, or to transmit, one or more elements constituting this website, as well as to modify, redistribute, translate, sell, exploit, reuse, or present any of the constituent elements of this website (in particular, the text, images and illustrations, sound, or animated sequences, whether present or future).

  1. Information contained on the website

The information presented on this website is not exhaustive; it is provided for information purposes only and may be subject to change at a later date. As such, DEFE cannot be held liable in any way whatsoever.

  1. Hyperlinks

The creation of hyperlinks by third parties to pages or documents published by the service, which may in fact constitute an infringement of copyright, an act of unfair free-riding, or defamation, must be subject to authorization, which may be requested directly from DEFE.

The corresponding authorization will be granted if the links do not conflict with the interests of the service and if they ensure that the user can identify the origin of the document, in particular in the case of deep links, framing, or embedding via links. Furthermore, DEFE cannot be held responsible for the content or services offered by websites that link to or reference the DEFE website without express authorization.
